About Babbling Brook Glamping

Set in the rolling hills near Lampeter, Babbling Brook Glamping is a tiny, off-grid retreat where wildlife and tranquility take centre stage. With just a handful of pitches tucked into farmland, it's a genuinely remote spot—expect composting loos, renewable energy, and the crackle of your own campfire under dark skies. Free Wi-Fi keeps you connected if needed, though most guests come to disconnect entirely.

The location is a walker's dream, with trails fanning out across mid-Wales, and there's canoeing, climbing, and mountain biking all within easy reach. A nearby farmers' market and local pub add low-key convenience without crowding the peace. Facilities are simple rather than polished, so those after gleaming shower blocks might find it a touch rustic, but for anyone craving proper escape—dogs, motorbikes, and all—it's hard to beat.

Me & my wife stayed here for 3 nights from 24th Dec. On the 1st night we went down to the village to the Goat pub and had a lovely meal. The pod we stopped in was called.. Beech. It had everything we needed. Charlotte the lovely host had left the user manual to use the things. Cooker top a little fidley to work 1st time but got used to it. Hot tub/Jacuzzi was great. Perfect temperature just had to keep dipping my head under water because it was like 2 degrees outside and felt like I had botox on my forehead. We had 2 firepit packs £10 each extra but had fun doing those and having a drink round the fire. At night we layed on the bed and put the tv on the swivel bracket to face the bed and watched christmas films. Tv is a smart tv so can log into your netflix account or prime video etc. So we always had something to watch when we wanted too. Overall had a good time away and nice chill out. If you need anything at all Charlotte the host is a phonecall away although we didn't need to get intouch. If you want to getaway for a chillout give it ago we enjoyed it. Thanks Charlotte 👍

My self and a friend booked in for a short weekend stay, and it was just perfect! Accommodation was beautiful, so clean and fresh! Loved the fly net door which allowed us to have the breeze without the flies and wasps. Charlotte was soo attentive and just lovely! Lots of space, for the two of us and the sofa bed was really comfortable. We paid an extra £10 and got a log burning box which we had a little camp fire with in the evening. Hot tub, was clean and perfect temp at all times. We enjoyed being surrounded by sheep and cows, you can see how much care goes into them. Location was perfect! You feel you’re miles away from everything but a 15-20 minute drive and we found ourselves in Welshpool, in the indoor market, then having some lunch at coco! Everything was just perfect! Was sad to leave but will be back for sure!

I recently had the most wonderful stay at the pod, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculately clean, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into every detail. The pod was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay completely hassle-free. The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful surroundings and lovely walks right on the doorstep. One of the highlights was the amazing hot tub – a large, spotless, and perfectly maintained space that we could use anytime. The setup was ideal, with well-spaced pods offering privacy, especially while enjoying the hot tub. What really stood out was how safe and family-friendly everything was, making it a great place to come with children. The soft lighting around the pod created such a cozy atmosphere, and the whole site felt well thought out and secure. It was also great to see how much the owners care about nature and the environment, adding to the charm of this special place. A huge thank you to Charlotte, our host, who was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Her hospitality was amazing, and everything looked brand new and well cared for. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home (and more!), this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return! Eliza and Paul
