Acre Hill Cottage is a single-storey stone cottage on a working farm in the Ribble Valley, sleeping two. Everything you need for a self-catering stay is here: a kitchen with electric oven and hob, a combined living and dining space with a woodburner (fuel included), a bedroom with a king bed, and a shower room. WiFi is available, though rural signal can be patchy. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and electricity.
The cottage opens onto an enclosed garden with a patio, seating and a gas barbecue. There is parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free; larger groups of dogs are also accommodated provided they are kept on leads, as sheep graze nearby. No smoking inside the property.
The location works well for walking and outdoor activities. Gisburn Forest is close by for woodland trails, horse riding and mountain biking. The Ribble Valley's winding lanes are popular with cyclists, and the property has bike storage. The Yorkshire Dales and Pendle Hill are both within reach for a day trip. The village of Bolton-by-Bowland lies three miles away.
