Dolphinholme sits at the edge of Forest of Bowland, with Lancaster's castle and Georgian architecture less than five miles away. A pub is within walking distance, and Williamson Park—with its lake, café and valley views—is close by for an afternoon out. Hill View Cottage is a mid-terrace property on a quiet village street, where you get the whole place to yourself: two bedrooms, one bathroom, and space for four people.

The ground floor is open-plan, with a wood-burning stove, seating, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook proper meals. Upstairs are a bedroom with a super king bed, a second room with bunks (good for children), and a shower room. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels. There is a shared garden with a bench, though note there's a step down into it. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.

It works for couples, small families, or anyone after a base to walk the forest or explore Lancaster without the fuss of hotels. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.
