The Lancaster Canal towpath is on your doorstep, and from there you can walk into the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape or cycle towards the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Carnforth's pubs and restaurants are minutes away on foot, and Morecambe Bay, Kirkby Lonsdale, and the heritage railway at Carnforth Station are all within driving distance. Milos Retreat sits at Tewitfield Marina, where the water and countryside combine to give the area a genuine sense of escape without isolation.
The apartment is a single ground-floor space arranged around an open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. A king-size bed sits in the bedroom, there is one bathroom with a shower, and a private balcony overlooks the marina. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. One car can park on site, and there is a garden area for sitting out. The property is yours alone—no shared spaces—and one well-behaved pet is welcome. Note that the canal runs unfenced through the grounds. Guests must not smoke indoors.

Great little base from which to explore Arnside. We booked through the owners who were very helpful and provided detailed information. The place was exactly as seen in the photos with a comfy bed and very well equipped kitchen. Great dog friendly accommodation with plenty of walks right from the door. We enjoyed sitting in the sun watching the lambs in the field. We hadn’t fully realised that the outdoor space wasn’t a separate patio but the driveway over looking the owners house. This wasn’t an issue but with an elderly dog who needs to make frequent trips outside, especially during the night we were conscious of this and might not have booked had we known.

We were meant to stay here for 2 nites, but last minute the owners texted my girlfriend half 8 the nite before we had planned to stay said " sorry we have double booked and blamed booking.com and that a group of people were staying for 4 nights. So obviously they took the bigger booking. Tried to ring them but they didn't answer, obviously it was the owners who let us down.be careful when booking through these they might let you down like they did with us. Avoid
