Great site. We love it and stay a few times each year. The site is peaceful and immaculate. We have brought both caravan for longer stays and camper van for short breaks. The pitches are spacious, flat and well maintained with electric hook up. Leigh the owner and site team are responsive and really helpful. The shower block is modern, warm, with endless hot water and is spotlessly clean, there is a brilliant washing room with washer and tumble dryer. The site is easy to access and close to the Longlands hotel which serves excellent food ( and wine!) , there are loads of places to visit nearby. We would highly recommend this site. Our next stay is already booked.

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. The site itself is quite small — around 11 caravan pitches and 9 pods — and overall fairly basic. Our touring pitch was okay, but on the small side. We booked through Pitchup, which advised we’d need a 4m electric cable. In reality, we needed at least a 10m cable (possibly longer depending on your pitch), as the electric points are quite far from some spots. The power supply is only 10 amp, so it’s quite limited — for example, running a kettle and toaster together trips it, and you can’t use a 12 amp heater without cutting out the whole pitch. There’s no on-site office or warden, so any issues have to be dealt with via email. While we were there, the WiFi went down and there was no hot water in the ladies’ shower. Facilities are limited — just one ladies’ shower and two toilets. There’s only a small grassy area for children to play. There is a farm nearby, but it’s along a busy road with no pavements, so children need to be accompanied. There’s also an extra charge for activities like visiting the animals or using the play barn. Our friends stayed in one of the pods and unfortunately had a few issues — the electrics kept tripping, hot water was inconsistent, WiFi didn’t work, and the heating was fixed at 14°C, which made it very cold. The double bed dipped in the middle, making it uncomfortable, and the children had to share a pull-out double bed — two singles would have been more suitable. We were allocated pitch 11, which is very close to the toilet block. Unfortunately, this meant people were constantly walking across our pitch throughout the day, so we ended up blocking it off with our cars for some privacy. The toilet door was also very loud, opening and closing all night. On a windy night, if it wasn’t properly shut, it kept banging open and closed — it honestly felt like it was right next to our heads. A simple hook or latch to secure the door would make a big difference. On the positive side, the site is easy to access just off the motorway (no tricky single-track roads), has a secure entry gate, and is clean with good recycling facilities. Overall, it’s an okay site, but fairly basic with a few practical issues. It’s also worth noting it would have been cheaper to book direct rather than through Pitchup (see leaflet attached).

We were delighted with this little gem of a site. It's an ideal place to stay overnight if you are heading for the IOM ferry. It's clean and well set out and it's a nice touch to hear music playing in the public toilets area.

10 of us booked to stay. We booked in September 2025 to stay in July 2026. We all booked the same day. Today - 7 weeks to go, they cancelled. They changed their reasons on the cancellation numerous times and ended their message with ‘ This is our final response on the matter ’. One of us logged a complaint. They dismissed it and said ‘this is our final response on the matter’. THEN they even sent out an email threatening legal action if we left a poor review and told us all to consider leaving a bad review carefully. This email they forwarded contained someone’s private data (bank details!). They ignored phone calls. They have come across as incredibly rude in their messages. Rather glad they cancelled now as it sounds like it would have been terrible to stay there and they would have made everything hard work. They have commented we can’t leave a review as we didn’t stay - well, this is my review of my experience with them and not my stay. As we never got to have our stay. I believe they are using my none payment as an excuse to cancel EVERYONE! They claim they couldn’t reach me as I provided incorrect email, even though my booking confirmation and pod allocation came through to my email. And they had my phone number as they were happy to text me about the cancellation but never to request payment which I would have happily paid. All in all - poor EXPERIENCE as I can’t comment on my stay, as they cancelled it and everyone else’s.
