I recently visited Vue Cinema to watch The Super Mario Bros. Movie, and I had a really lovely experience. The service was quick, smooth, and very well organised from start to finish. A special mention to Gina, who truly went above and beyond. Her customer service was excellent!! She was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Thankyou ♡

The tickets are very cheap, £4.99 if bought online in advance. The cinema itself is fairly good although the access via stairs is not ideal. Some of the seats are showing their age with saggy bottoms and damaged upholstery. The price of refreshments is an absolute scandal so take your own.

Incredibly cynical cash grabbing behaviour by Vue. If you encourage purchasing online and if you sell food and drink you should at least have your staff politely check that young people have ID BEFORE you rinse them for £££ and then tell them they can't come in. There are lots of ways you can improve the customer experience. Better signage about ID, reminders for teenagers who may not look 15 or 18 to have proof. Staff who are not jobsworths with policies that don't alllow for common sense (when a girl opens her school app that shows she is year 11 then she can't be under 15). It's been a challenge of cinemas for over 50 years BUT Vue appear to have less common sense, are incredibly greedy and are about creating horrible experiences for young people. Then we have ludicrous pricing structures which have no meaningful impact on experience but use fomo and psychological tactics to make people pay more than they should. Luckily, I got into my film as I am an older person but as a service designer and customer experience expert what I saw yestetday will give me rich material on how not to do things. No wonder cinemas are empty and people stay home

People say this cinema offers a wide variety of films, comfortable seating with ample legroom, and a great sound system. They also highlight the cheap online tickets, clean facilities, and helpful, friendly staff.
Some reviews mention the food and drinks can be overpriced.
