What visitors say
We visited Baddersley Clinton yesterday when it was lovely and sunny. It is a really beautiful Tudor house, which is surrounded by a moat. The National Trust staff in the house are very knowledgeable and were on hand to answer any question we had. It’s beautiful inside (some low ceilings, so be careful if you are tall) and there’s lots of information to read as you move from room to room. The house was featured on the George Clarke National Trust Unlocked series (look out for the priest hole, the story is very interesting). The gardens are very pretty and there are ponds (with lots of ducks), a walled garden, vegetable plot and a pretty walk through woodland. There is a cafe situated in a really pretty courtyard, which sells a good selection of hot and cold drinks and food. There is also a large second hand bookshop and a gift shop in the same area. The toilets are also in the courtyard. You can hire mobility scooters to get around if you need too, there are some little bridges in the wooded area, but there’s no problem getting around if that’s what you need. It’s also great for children, as there’s lots of open space and plenty of places to play hide and seek! Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit and is one of the nicest National Trust properties we have visited.

This is one of our absolute favourite National Trust properties anywhere. The moated Tudor manor house is stunning in and of itself, but the last owners also collected furniture from other great houses and the history is fascinating. Don't miss the tour including the priest holes! This time I went for a long walk around the surrounding fields and finished off with a nice meal from the café.

Spent a great day here with a very good friend. Car parking was ok, had to use the overflow car park but no bother, was kong grass though so be careful in low cars. The grounds are great, had a tour around the house and the National Trust staff answered all my questions and gave excellent snippets of additonal information. Sat and had a picnic in the grounds and overall a very pleasant experience, very relaxing and exactly what I needed.

The car park does get busy here! Lovely place to spend time and unwind from life. The house is full of character and history and well looked after. The ducks and geese here are more friendly then the staff! I don't think I've seen so many wondering about the place at a national trust before! One duck thought he was Part of our family and followed us round. Magical place. Will visit again in future.
