Peacehaven's clifftop location puts you within walking distance of the beach and close enough to Brighton for day trips, yet far enough back to feel removed from the bustle. Fairwind occupies that rare spot: a detached bungalow positioned to catch uninterrupted views of the Channel, with the option to enjoy them from the garden or from inside. A covered swimming pool in the rear garden operates May through September. The Greenwich Meridian passes through the town, and the marker on the cliff edge lies just a short distance away.
Everything is on the ground floor: three bedrooms (one with an ensuite, one double, one with two singles), a second bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly—oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher. Parking for two cars is private. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The beach is 150 yards away. A pub and restaurant sit 300 yards off, and shops slightly further. Brighton's piers, the Royal Pavilion and the i360 tower are six miles east. Newhaven's marina offers boat trips along the Seven Sisters coast or ferry crossings to France. Sussex vineyards are within reach for those interested in local wines.
