Swiss Cottage

Swiss Cottage is a thoroughly fitted self-catering cottage for four in a canalside village near Tamworth. The ground floor contains a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, and a kitchen/dining room equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer—everything needed for cooking proper meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, served by a shower room. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. The cottage has private parking for one car and an enclosed garden with patio furniture; there is also access to the owner's art studio.

The property suits families, couples and groups of friends. A pub is within walking distance, and the village has shops and takeaways nearby. The canal towpath runs a hundred yards away for country walks, and the National Memorial Arboretum is half a mile off. Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and Tamworth Snowdome lie within twelve miles; Alton Towers and Trentham Gardens are an hour's drive. One well-behaved dog may stay. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
