Campsite near Horncastle with shower blocks and laundry facilities, set beside seven lakes in a conservation area.
About Ashby Park
Ashby Park is a campground on the edge of a conservation park dotted with seven lakes. The site itself offers straightforward camping pitches with toilet blocks and showers, plus laundry facilities for longer stays.
The lakes are the draw here—close enough that you can walk to them from your pitch. This is Lincolnshire fenland, so expect flat countryside and water birds rather than dramatic scenery. The conservation designation means the setting is protected and relatively undisturbed, which appeals to campers looking for a quieter base rather than resort-style entertainment.

What visitors say
I last came here in 2010 and I thought it was a great place to spend time. I haven't had a motorhome since then, until now. I arrived hoping the place would be as good as it was the last time I was here. It is far better now. The staff are very friendly, always happy to help and very knowledgeable. The site is very clean and well maintained. The fishing lakes are beautiful and very well stocked with some very big fish. I have really enjoyed my stay here and it will not be my last. This is in my top 3 campsites in the UK. Fantastic!!

Not a bad site. We camped with family and had a wonderful time. The pitches were flat although a little hard and the toilet facilities were excellent. No local shops and the nearest pub was a little over a mile away. I would stay here again as a base but not for local attractions. I understand that there are fishing lakes on site but this did not interest us. Certainly worth checking out.

My Wife and I have just spent a lovely four day break in our tourer at this gem of a site, set among seven well stocked fishing lakes it is an anglers paradise and very peaceful. The office staff were friendly helpful and welcoming, Paul the site warden showed us to our pitch, gave us all the information on the site, even angling tips on the various lakes. The awning base on our pitch was a level patio type made up of pavers, it did cause a slight problem with pegging down with my awning being short of the grass edge at one side, no problem, Paul arrived with the solution and even helped me get it pegged firmly down. A lovely site run by lovely people five minutes from Horncastle a little town with plenty of shops pubs and restaurants I will be returning soon with friends for an angling weekend.
