Amazing campsite, can’t believe we’ve never been before now. Mainly booked due to recommendations that it was a good place to take the dog due to him not being very friendly and it was perfect. We saw pretty much no one while we were there, even though I assume from walking round it was fully booked. Could only very slightly see heads walking to and from the shower block which was fab for us and the dog. The whole area is so peaceful, being amongst the trees and near the little lakes. We didn’t want to come home! The pitch we had was perfect for us couldn’t have wished for more. Easy to find and near enough to venture out 10/15 mins to other villages so not travelling far out. We will definitely back (hopefully on the same pitch) but for longer, two night didn’t seem enough for us as we enjoyed so much. Plenty of clean warm showers and always kept tidy and clean, bins were always emptied and the toilets were clean also.

It's a camping experience like no other. Adults only so no kids screaming and charging around. It would be the most perfect place for kids to explore and enjoy but it's adults only and that is great too. Basic but spotlessly clean wash rooms and showers with loads of hot water. Pitches with lots of space around, all offset and in their own secluded area, enabling you to soak up the peace and tranquility of this site, broken only by the sound of birds. We were given a fully fenced dog pitch which was fantastic for us all, dogs could wander without being tied to the lead and we could relax without worrying about what they were doing. Lots of vegetation between the next pitch meant that our dogs never saw the neighbouring dogs so no aggro there either. We wandered into Lindale for a spot of lunch at the Royal Oak, best fish finger sandwich I've had in a long time! We relaxed in the evening by the fire pit and enjoyed the peace. Thoroughly recommend this site to get away from it all.

Absolutely stunning location. So peaceful. The secure pitch we had was perfect for our dogs, plenty grass and high fencing. Plus the addition of the secure dog paddock is fab. The owners are lovely and keep the campsite exceptionally clean and maintained. The actual pitches in the woods are just wow! In the village of Grange over sands there's a lovely promenade to walk along with a gorgeous dog friendly cafe. Also lots of cafes and gift shops in the village centre. It's about 9 mins drive away. With plenty of parking.

5 stars isn't enough! Incredible camp site. Pitches are well spaced out so it feels like you have the entire place to yourself. Each pitch has its own bin, electric hookup and camper hookup. The owner was generous enough to loan us some extension as ours weren't long enough. Shower blocks are inspected daily and have toilet roll, soap and paper towels topped up. Drinking water and cleaning basin on site also. Will definitely be coming back, even if the birds have you up before the sun!
