We booked for an over night stay , young women greeted us with why was the front door open?, then struggled to open our room door as she was carrying her baby , eith that thrust her baby into my husband's arm saying hold my baby , hubby couldn't hold her for long and had to place on the floor,the room was very small , outdated and very uninviting, TV did work in fact all the facilities were very poor, had the find alternative accommodation at further expense ,thankfully we did , the other rooms may be okay, be aware of the "small double room ,would not recommend at all.

What a lovely place! Very near the beach. Only stayed overnight but it was large, clean and peaceful. Next time I'll book direct so more profits go to the Firefighterscharity.org.uk. I would like to thank the Staff member on the desk for being very amenable. ☺️

I arrived after a long journey only to have to keep ringing doorbell and knocking ...no one answered, a note on the door said they couldn't answer to door the the moment and to ring a mobile number which I did ....number wouldn't even connect! I decided to seek alternative accommodation( which I fortunately got) as this was not a good start to my visit. When I eventually made contact some hours later I received poor attitude over the phone and told there was a key in a box at the door , I was not informed of this prior to arrival! I arrived after the 3pm check in time so someone should have been there! Doubt I'll get my money back. Just stay clear of this accommodation is my advice.

Positives: Room was quiet and clean and had lots of nice touches. Very well placed for beach and amenities. I had a single room - bed was a double which was nice. Downsides: bedding was too small for the bed and kept sliding off! Ensuite was nice to have but the shower was a bit dribbly and kept going hot/cold at random moments. Other: there's free on-street parking (if you can grab it) or a P&D just opposite. No breakfast, which is fine as long as you know in advance (thankfully I did), so I paid £65 per night for a (single) room only. Touch expensive maybe? Would stay again though.
