About Premier Inn Littlehampton

Littlehampton sits on the West Sussex coast within reach of the South Downs National Park, and on Roundstone Lane you'll find Premier Inn Littlehampton, a straightforward base for exploring the area. The hotel has 39 rooms across two floors, each with en-suite bathroom and air conditioning, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. Some of the building shows its age in places, though the rooms themselves are kept clean and quiet.

There's a restaurant and bar on site serving breakfast with vegetarian options, and drinks are available in the room. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24-hour reception, and free on-site parking is available once you've registered your vehicle at reception, with an electric vehicle charge point also on site.

Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports, along with nearby pubs and restaurants for evenings out. It's a practical choice for anyone wanting easy access to the coast and countryside without paying over the odds.

I've stayed in a few Premier inns and largely they are basically the same . In fact that's why I stay in them if there's one available and reasonably priced. Because you know what you're going to get. You aren't usually disappointed and sometimes you're impressed. It's probably my fault for not realising it but this Premier inn is basic compared with the others I've stayed in. The first disappointment was the restaurant. It isn't contained in the main building. It's one of those where the hotel is served by a separate pub/restaurant. That's ok, I've experienced them before, I stayed in their Lowestoft hotel and the pub was good and open at normal pub times. The Littlehampton one opens at 5pm. So because I'd arrived after a four hour journey at 3.30 and I was hungry I nipped off to the nearest Burger king. I was looking forward to a pint, but I had to wait until 5. When I wandered in the Pub/ restaurant at two minutes past five I discovered there was no bitter or cider on draft and the bottled range was limited. The location is isolated. On a main road near some trading estates. The reception is one of those little ones, just big enough for two people to stand behind. No lounge area to relax or socialise. The hotel seems to be one that you are meant to walk into, sleep and leave. The Restaurant is there just to serve meals, get eaten and retire back to your room. They do have an hotel in the actual town which I didn't stay at because I wanted a ' quick getaway ' the following morning. One good point, they have a car park and it's free. I shouldn't really see that as a bonus. There was a time when a free car park was the norm. So to conclude. If you want to eat, sleep and leave this is the place for you. If you expect at least a little more of an experience, it's not . By the way, this hotel was not cheap, £164 for the night. The one in town was cheaper. The staff were good and doing the best with what they had available. I will still stay in Premier inns, but I'll make sure I read the details and question why isn't a restaurant or bar or anything else except the rooms pictured.

Had a really lovely stay! Room very pleasant to be in, comfortable bed, nice and quiet, staff all really warm and friendly and helpful (including Chloe at the restaurant), breakfast was delicious and plentiful - nice touch having berries and fruit salad as part of what's on offer, and the cooked breakfast was yummy. Oh, and great air con, which was significant as I was there in a heatwave.

Stayed here four nights for work. Plenty of parking and the room was well sound proofed. The reception and bar staff are lovely. Special mentions to Olivia and Charlton who are very attentive bar staff and always cheerful and Jake the chef who makes a great burger.

I needed a car charge and the charger they had in the car park was PERFECT. I got about 47kW speeds and it meant I could put it on charge and relax in our room rather than sit in a charging station five miles away for an hour. I noticed the “LGBT+ live your life” sticker on the door that instantly put me at ease. (I’m visibly transgender) When we checked in the lady in reception was so lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. It didn’t hurt that we got a room hostage which was a pleasant surprise. The room was immaculate and I could have stayed in the shower all morning. The mattress tended to firm. Breakfast was of the usual Premier Inn standard (varied and good quality) and the cooked breakfast had several vegetarian meat substitute, which I enjoyed. The retirement was in an older more dated building but it was pleasant and the staff were attentive. I recommend this hotel.
