About The Lamb at Angmering
The Lamb at Angmering occupies a classic village pub setting on The Square in Littlehampton, with just six rooms tucked above the bar and restaurant, giving it the feel of a small, personal inn rather than a large hotel. It sits within easy reach of the West Sussex coastline and countryside, making it a handy base for exploring both.
Rooms are comfortable and well turned out, with soft bedding, en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and the option of drinks brought straight to your room. Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are a strong draw in their own right, serving generous plates and a well-regarded roast, with a broad enough menu to suit different tastes. Breakfast is included, staff are on hand around the clock at reception, and free on-site parking makes arriving straightforward.
Beyond the front door, the area offers walking and cycling routes, golf and fishing nearby, plus a good spread of other pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach. It's a compact, food-focused stay that suits guests who want a proper pub atmosphere alongside their room for the night.

What guests say
Our stay at The Lamb was lovely a very friendly welcome, a beautiful spacious room with nice fresh decor. Plenty tea and coffee making facilities. Staff were so helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Met the proprietor and took the time to stop and chat several times during our stay. We were attending the Goodwood festival of speed and a perfect location a 20 min drive. Had dinner and a breakfast both lovely plenty of choice for breakfast and freshly cooked. We will certainly be returning and recommending The Lamb and the village to friends and family.

A very charming pub in a lovely location. The staff were exceptionally attentive throughout our stay, always on hand to help with anything we needed and very informative. The room was comfortable and well presented, with beautifully soft, freshly scented bedding. The mattress was also excellent and ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding — genuinely knockout. Everything tasted fresh, with high-quality local ingredients cooked to perfection.

Stayed from Fri to Sunday for a wedding. Came with my partner and immediately made to feel at home by the lovely Adriana who sorted out a booking issue and booked us in the restaurant on the night. Nothing was any trouble for her and she was head and shoulders above any staff at any hotel we have visited this year. Well done for being our amazing host 👏 food was amazing...room was lovely..and even returned our bag we left in the bar ... one of the friendliest nicest pubs we have been to..first time in findon.... a lovely memory shared ..

We stayed at the Lamb last night, The staff we're amazingly friendly and we felt instantly welcome. We were shown or room which was bright , warm & with a very clean, modern bathroom. When we we returned later that night I had a couple of drinks in the bar served by a very nice young lady that made us feel at ease after a hard long day at a funeral. The full English Breakfast is worth the money and the service couldn't have been better. Would gladly recommend it to friends and family.
