We stayed here to attend a concert at Anfield Stadium. It was easy to get to Waterloo Merseyrail station and take the train to Sandhills and then get concert/soccer bus to the stadium and back. The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Parking was easy at hotel -we got parked in the car park easily but there was plenty of street parking next to the hotel if we had needed that. Room was comfortable with a good shower. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. We would stay here again if we visited the area.

This hotel is lovely. The rooms are large clean and modern. Eg double sockets with USB-A and USB-C chargers on each side. Nice coffee pod machine. The breakfast was excellent- huge Lincolnshire sausage served with the Royal Breakfast- brought to table not buffet. The staff are genuinely caring people if very busy it seems. Will come again.

Near the sea and parks this historic hotel is also well-situated for sight-seeing in Liverpool. We chose it once again for a family celebration because it consistently provides great service as well as a lovely atmosphere. Parking is available. The room for our party was laid out well with audio and slideshow options. It was clean and comfortable with crisp white linen on the tables. The food and the service were excellent. The Head Chef, Matt, is to be especially commended for the delicious buffet provided for nearly 50 people. Liz and Rachael managed the service brilliantly making sure everyone had what they needed to enjoy themselves. The management team are at all times very professional and helpful. Geoff, Becky, James and all your team, thank you for making it a very special occasion.

The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Even though we missed breakfast, they offered us complimentary food. The hotel was very clean and tidy. There is ample parking, so you won't need to eat out, but there are many different food options within walking distance. You might even meet Iron Man on a beach walk; the beach could be a nice treat.
