About Fron Farm Shepherd's Huts

Tucked into the Conwy Valley with sweeping views towards Snowdonia's peaks, Fron Farm Shepherd's Huts offers two cosy retreats on a working farm where chickens and ducks roam freely. The setting is genuinely spectacular—guests can soak in the shared outdoor hot tub while gazing across valley and mountain, then fire up the barbecue as the sun sets. Fresh eggs are available for breakfast if you fancy them.

The location proves ideal for walkers, with routes leading straight from the farm, including a 15-minute stroll to a nearby obelisk revealing views across to Anglesey. Snowdonia National Park's countless trails lie just a quarter-hour's drive away, while the Victorian seaside charm of Llandudno is ten minutes down the road. Dogs are welcome, though they'll need to stay on the lead around the livestock—this is very much sheep country. The facilities are fairly basic, but the views more than compensate.

A perfect 10/10 stay! The place was spotlessly clean and cosy, and the bed was so comfortable. Cerys was an exceptional host. She was so quick to respond to our messages and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The homemade fresh bread and biscuits were such a thoughtful (and delicious) touch, and giving us a tour around the farm made our stay extra special. We can’t recommend this place enough and we already can't wait to come back in the summer.

I travelled solo to Wales for some much needed me-time and I couldn't have had a more wonderful stay. The hut was immaculately presented, had spectacular views and all the small touches were spot on! I felt safe and looked after but not crowded, Cerys was the ultimate host. Brilliantly located for walks, waterfalls, zip lines, castles and beaches yet still feels so very peaceful. I already know this is going to be an annual event (if not sooner!)

I stayed here a few years back for a solo climb up Snowdon and if I could give 100 stars I would! Cerys was a phenomenal host who made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay! Her homemade stew was to die for and the accommodation itself was outstanding! Clean, tidy, cute and cozy all rolled into one! I've been meaning to come back for a while now and I'm thinking I may just have to get something booked soon! Thanks again for an incredible stay!
