A seafront hotel on Llandudno's Victorian promenade, dating from 1854, with 60 traditional rooms and sea views.
About St Kilda Hotel
Llandudno's long promenade, backed by the Great Orme, has drawn seaside visitors since Victorian times, and St Kilda Hotel has been part of that seafront since 1854. Set on Gloddaeth Crescent, it offers 60 traditionally styled rooms, including family and accessible options, with en-suite bathrooms and sea views over the bay.
Guests have use of a restaurant and bar, with breakfast, packed lunches and kids' meals all available, plus a snack bar and drinks in the room for quieter moments. A garden, picnic area and outdoor seating give extra space to sit outside, while a lift, 24-hour reception, room service, concierge and laundry service cover the practical side of a stay.
The location suits those keen to explore the North Wales coast, with walking and cycling routes nearby, along with golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports. Further pubs, restaurants and entertainment sit within easy reach, making the hotel a straightforward base for a traditional seaside break.
What guests say
The hotel has very recently changed hands, and the rooms are due for (and need) refurbishing, but the present price is great even given the present condition of the rooms, making our stay very good value. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom was great. We had a view of the sea and could look left and right down the promenade. Our breakfast could not be faulted.

The single room 338 I would of given a 5 but shower power poor and shower holder broken..the room was very clean and the bed comfy. Perfect nearly . Definitely recommend. Staff very helpful and polite. Bar area and restaurant area very clean. Breakfast was fine just a little dry as if prepared an hour before and under hot plate. But wouldn't stop me booking again. Fabulous location seafront.

Stayed with 2 grandchildren midweek half term 2022. Hotel dated but very clean! All staff made a big effort to talk to the children (although there were few children staying.)Complimentary scones and drinks given on arrival, really nice touch and very welcoming. Breakfast very good choice, although we did not have evening meal other guests said it was very good.

Just returned from an excellent week's stay. The staff are always helpful and friendly but Lara is an asset to your hotel and always makes sure things are carried out promptly and to a high standard. Was great to be able to hire a mobility scooter. The meals were delicious and there was a varied choice each day.
