The most lovely nights stay at Sunbank. The Cowshed is beautiful, cosy and so well decorated. We loved our homemade pizzas from Simon and the continental breakfast in the morning. The views are breathtaking. Sam was super helpful when we got a touch lost. Thank you so much to the hosts Sam and Simon

Lovely Yurt... amazing location...very clean but can be a little cold without the log burner alight...we absolutely loved it and will return but just a little note to say put a King size quilt on the double bed ...it really will make a difference...

Wonderful spot provided by the hosts, Si & Sam. Welcomed warmly, and settled in to the yurt that’s very nicely decorated. Big bed, log burner, ample blankets provided as well as hot water bottles. It gets very cold at night! Also noisy, though it’s nice noise… owls hooting etc. Very bright in the mornings too, I recommend ear plugs and a night mask if you’re a light sleeper! Outdoor kitchen is adjacent, providing all your needs; kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge… superb! Bathroom has a chemical toilet that takes getting used to, and an electric shower that tends to get the floor a bit wet due to nature of shallow tray and shower curtain combo. My only small issue was with the approach entrance and driveway. Very rough/rutted and steep it requires careful navigation, if you have a low car, you’ll struggle here. Location is perfect, hopping on the canal path just over the road from the entrance, you’re only 10 mins away from a pub and then about an hours gentle walk into Llangollen itself. Loved it!

Everything was just perfect! We stayed in the Cowshed. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom felt really luxury and breakfast was delicious. Sam and her family are extremely friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back!
