Bryn Howel Hotel occupies a substantial country house built in 1896, set in around five acres of parkland alongside the Llangollen Canal a few miles from the town centre. The hotel looks out across the Vale of Llangollen towards the Berwyn hills, and several of its 36 rooms and the restaurant terrace share the same outlook.
Rooms combine traditional touches, including stone fireplaces in some, with modern amenities such as flat-screen televisions and tea and coffee facilities, and the hotel's restaurant has built a solid local reputation for its cooking and its view over the grounds. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided throughout.
The hotel's canal-side position makes it a natural base for towpath walks and cycling towards the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which lies close by at Trevor, while Llangollen town itself is a short drive away for the railway, shops and restaurants.

Love love love this place. It's a quiet haven which is ran for residents only. Fabulously peaceful surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. It is definitely Bob Ross countryside full of happy little trees and happy little accidents. Here's to many happy years Still our happy place. The other residents are just lovely too... Heaven

Quiet and friendly site. Ideal for senior citizens and dogs are welcome with secure paddock for off lead exercise.
