Llangollen puts plenty on your doorstep, and 2 Bodwen Villas makes a fair base for exploring it. The River Dee and Llangollen Canal are both within reach for a wander along the towpath, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is a worthwhile trip for anyone keen on Thomas Telford's engineering, and Castell Dinas Bran offers a walk up to the hilltop ruins above the town for those who fancy the climb.
The guest house itself is adults only, with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in the room, plus free WiFi throughout. Reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible, and pets are welcome for those travelling with a dog in tow.
Beyond the walking routes, there's fishing nearby for anglers, watersports for those wanting to get on the water, and a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants close by for evenings out. On-site, guests have found it a comfortable, well-placed stop for seeing this part of Denbighshire, with a good standard of accommodation to come back to after a day out.

The room we had was clean, inviting and the bathroom was fantastic! The first time on our week long travels that we had a proper bathroom. There was also a mini fridge in the room! We were so stoked about that. Two things were not super great for us. The parking was a bit tricky, luckily we got to park right up the road, but in general there are no parking spaces we could see. The second thing was that the beds were really wobbly. They have those metal frame pop up beds. and while comfy they were also wobbly. I was a little scared they would collapse at night. They didn't thankfully.

I could not fault this place at all! Amazing friendly host who made us feel right at home, gave us the option to move to a bigger room for the same price as we were bringing along our 5 month old so we had enough space for his cot and felt more comfortable. 10/10 cleanliness, good area couple minutes walk from centre, nice quiet area, spacious rooms with beautiful modern bathrooms! Will definitely be returning☺️

Lovely little room not far from town. Enjoyed the walk to and from town. Hester was very helpful in solving a problem we had. Definitely go again
