What visitors say
We as a group use the venue every other week for a fun friendly sing-a-long. Always made welcome & the staff are so friendly. 2 of us meet up earlier for lunch on a regular basis, I can not recommend the Chili enough, it has become a firm favourite of ours, the soups are also fantastic with a choice of a herby scone or chunk of crusty bread all very reasonably priced. A good choice of hot or cold drinks are available & if you feel really peckish, home made cakes & treats are also on offer, the cheesecake which I've yet to try looks fabulous. The atmosphere is always warm & welcoming, I really enjoy going to the venue.

Amazing bacon sandwich’s, was working here as a contractor and got to check out the inner beauty of both places. The cafe is so peaceful with hanging flowers, older groups practicing singing whilst I waited for a coffee, it was very relaxing!!

The 'Hanging Gardens' cafe is a special place lost in a small town and off the main high street. I spied the sign as we wandered around the town and weekend markets, the other half not quite convinced until we arrived. It was a limited menu but a place I believe all neighbourhoods should have access to places like this. Truly not a disappointment and inspiring place to be.....

The Hanging Gardens is one of those rare dream spaces - where all the most important things in life converge. Set back from the main street, this cafe is an oasis that provides so much more than delicious homemade food and coffee (although if that’s all you’re after you’ll be coming back time and time again). It is a space for nourishing community, and for growth, a place where food and conversations are shared, where friends are made, where toys are played, where vines grow about and above you… where music, films, events are supported. Where children and animals are welcome. Where the falafel is homemade, where the croissants are flakey buttery…. Where the staff are as friendly as family. And where Community is nourished and grown. The Hanging Gardens should be the pride of Llanidloes - it sets an example to all on how things could, and should, be done… thank you everyone. We will be back, time and time again to support you.
