What visitors say
Mountain View Campsite is a great place to camp or take a campervan too for a quiet relaxing night (or more!) The location is easy to find but secluded and remote to get you away from every day life. You get the added bonus of being situated in a field next to a group of alpacas (Cocoa will make himself known to you on arrival). As well as the dogs, chickens, goats and sheep heard in the distance, you'll feel at peace in nature! We met one of the owners, Karen, who is a great pleasure to chat with. We also bought some eggs that were laid the morning we left, can't get fresher than that. Highly recommended to visit.

Fell upon this campsite last minute when original site was not great & so glad we did. What an absolute gem, not only fantastic views, but to find they had friendly alpacas & goats made our day. Karen the owner was lovely. They had 2 portaloos & water available. Dogs are allowed. The grass was lush & soooo quiet. Just what we needed. There is a pub down the road, but once we got there we did not move. Highly recommend& we will be going back.

Nice place, nice folks , very basic toilets , don’t expect showers or fancy toilets, but do expect peace and quiet lovely views and a few alpacas to go and stroke in the adjoining field. perfect for camper vans and caravans, the lane is thin but big lorries make it up here to the farm machinery place down the road so it is very doable.Rob , Devon. Dog friendly .
