Arrived out of season on blustery evening. Facilities basic but clean, undergoing continuous development. Proper camping and a back to nature feel. Views cannot be priced. Pitches generally on a slight slope, but it is hilly Wales. Definitely would come again.

Campsite is fine, and pretty cheap. Have stayed before for events in the village and a new toilet/shower block has been a long time in the building, so we were excited to find it finally open this year. However, what a missed opportunity! Too small, so not enough facilities, badly designed, one basin in the ladies. Nowhere to hang or put things down. Loo roll just got wet as it was so close to the floor. Floor wet and muddy. Overall poor building design. No washing up facilities. No recycling facilities. And they make a killing on man vs horse weekend!

Stayed at the site for the Man v. Horse event in a large tent. Site perfectly placed for the race, like just across the road perfect! Very busy site because of the event. Lovely views and only a short pavement walk to town. Fairly flat, well drained pitches; great! Cannot be too complimentary about the facilities, but 'basic and functional' is about right! This site is part of a working farm, and as such, it is far from tranquil, but I didn't have a problem with this; just vehicle movements and sheep dogs barking. The site does not promise to be anything it isn't, and improvements are evidently in progress. Good value for money

Stayed for one night and left without showering the next day because the facilities were so unclean. All cleaning equipment was left outside the toilet block in the pouring rain. No clear directions of how to get in contact with anyone so ended up phoning the owner who was not in. For me, £10 for some grass and disgusting toilets / shower is not worth it. Campsite was eerily quiet.
