About The Forester Ealing
Leighton Road sits in the heart of Ealing, a leafy pocket of West London within easy reach of Ealing Broadway and the area's shops, bars and restaurants. The Forester Ealing occupies a classic pub building here, combining a working bar and restaurant with straightforward bed and breakfast accommodation upstairs.
Rooms are en-suite and simply equipped, with the option of drinks brought up to you and free WiFi throughout. Breakfast is included, and the 24 hour reception means arrival times are flexible, with luggage storage on hand for early check-ins or late departures.
Downstairs is where the property earns its reputation locally, serving both traditional pub food and a well-regarded Thai menu, alongside a Sunday carvery. Prices are reasonable and the staff are generally friendly, though service can be slow at busier times. The spacious garden, with covered seating areas, is a popular spot to eat outdoors regardless of the weather. Golf, entertainment venues and further pubs and restaurants are all within reach nearby.

This review is for the Thai Kitchen only but wow their food is amazing! It’s the closest to authentic Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand! I really recommend the duck pad see ewe and the pad Thai. However the starters were the stars of the show! Especially the wings and dumplings - just wow! The staff here were super lovely and actually gave us fantastic recommendations for food. I definitely recommend eating here

Great way to finish my UK holiday with a pint of the classic Fullers ESB, £6.30 circa 280 THB- it was superb. A huge ornate multi room pub that shows the Premier league games with commentary. Enjoyed the Man U v Liverpool game to accompany my pint. Didn't eat but noticed the Sunday lunches coming out looked very good. Good service and friendly locals, an excellent pub

Only went to the bar which I have to say had Fullers Vintage, Winter only - and not easily available anywhere. But really good. The pub was voted one of the prettiest pubs in London. It has two separate bars and a biggish garden/outside area (not that I sat there! ) It does good Thai food. And the place feels cosy even though the main bar is quite big. You can rent the smaller bar for events at a really reasonable price - which is what we did. The beer was well kept and the staff were knowledgeable about it - which is unusual in pubs these days.

Sizeable heritage pub in the leafy streets of West Ealing, with several distinct seating areas and bars inside. Huge garden too with covered areas for all eventualities. Serves Sunday carvery, with a Thai menu during the week. Fuller's beers complemented by a couple of craft choices.
