About The Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms
Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury meet on Grafton Way, and The Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms sits right in that pocket of central London, pairing a working pub with straightforward guest rooms above. It's the kind of set-up that suits a quick city stay - close to the buzz without needing to book somewhere flashy.
Rooms are en-suite and air conditioned, quiet enough to sleep well despite the central location, and come with drinks available in-room and room service if you'd rather not head back downstairs. Staff are on hand around the clock at 24 hour reception, and there's luggage storage and a laundry service for longer trips. Downstairs, the restaurant and bar serve a menu that ranges further than typical pub fare, with Thai green curry, duck bao buns and gyoza alongside the usual staples, and a rooftop terrace with outdoor seating that's a good spot for a drink.
Staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, adding to a welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere. With pubs, bars and restaurants nearby and entertainment within easy reach, it's a solid base for exploring this part of London on foot.

What guests say
Great little pub and the roof terrace was perfect for after work drinks (plus they had a large screen on with the World Cup). Service was a little slow but it was one very nice lady trying her best to take orders and ferry food and drinks to the terrace. The food was a little disappointing with the best dish being the crispy smoked chicken. The green curry was a neon green colour and very sweet with coconut. The sizzling beef looked impressive when first brought out but again too sweet for our tastes. Didn't try it but apparently the pad thai noodles were quite bland.

Beautiful boutique hotel located near the Tube, restaurants, and sightseeing. This is in a quiet location. Checking was friendly and quick. My room was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed, even an umbrella for that regular London rain. I chose to be there on a sunny day and didn't need it! My room was quiet, comfortable, and the A/C worked very well. There is not an elevator and only steep, tight stairs typical of old London. I handled my carryon just fine though a larger bag would have been interesting. My only complaints (and I'm digging deep for these) I would have like a washcloth for my face and a synthetic pillow on the bed. The four down pillows collapsed to nothing quite quickly. Though, I slept very well so clearly I didn't mind! I wish I could have stayed more than one night!

A bit disappointed in our stay at the Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms. First of all, we were in a room on the very top floor—5 flights with no elevator and no bellman to handle bags. Climbing the multitude of stairs after a day touring London was unhappy experience. The room itself was fine, but certainly nothing special. The lack of any real services was disappointing for the ££. We would not stay again and do not recommend. There are many better places for the same or less ££.

We stayed close to here and popped in to escape the heat of London. The air conditioning was perfect. The beers were great too. Came back the next day and had a bite. The gyoza was excellent ant the chicken teriyaki was tasty.
