Open lakeside park in north London beside an 18-hole golf course, open all year
About Lee Valley Camping and Caravan Park, Edmonton
Lee Valley Camping and Caravan Park spreads across open, level ground in Edmonton, part of the green corridor that runs north from the Thames along London's eastern edge. It's the most spacious of the capital's campsites, with a wide choice of grass and hardstanding pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes, plus cocoon pods, cabin pods and bell tents for anyone who'd rather not pitch their own. An eighteen-hole golf course sits alongside, with a lake nearby and access to the Lee Valley path network for walking and cycling.
The site is practical rather than scenic – this is north London, so expect some background traffic noise – but it's well run and open year-round. Facilities include heated showers, electric hook-up, launderette, a small shop with takeaways, and cycle hire. Dogs are welcome. Buses and nearby stations put you in central London within half an hour, while the North Circular and M25 are close for touring further afield. Prices compare very favourably with anything under a roof in the city, making it a solid base for exploring both the capital and the Lee Valley's quieter green spaces.

What visitors say
Great campsite for a base for london. Very quiet easy to get to the station. We walked 20 mins to ponders end and took the train to Liverpool st, loads easier than bus and tube which took ages. I'm sure we'll be back knowing how safe and easy it is. Toilets and showers clean but never used them. Perfect 3 days away 👌👍😀

Good location to access the city via public transport. The facilities are okay. The shower/toilet block is in desperate need of some hooks! There is plenty of wall space for a load of hooks to be fitted to be able to hang things while getting changed etc. also no sockets for hairdryers and no alternative hairdryer provided even if it was a pay for 15min one it would be better than nothing. Site was relatively quiet at night, considering your surrounding areas, we never expected it to be quiet though being in London, so don’t expect total peace and quiet coming here.

Staff were extremely rude. Speaking to them was already an inconvenience apparently but then they got annoyed when we asked if someone could show us how to get to our pitch as there was no signs indicating the different pitches. Our pitch wasn't even on the same area as the rest of them which made it even harder to find. The shower and toilet facilities were filthy. We hated it here so much we left after the first night. We also were under the impression that we would have access to electricity near our pitch like it said in the booking but we didn't. Safe to say never gonna go to this campsite ever again.

I cancelled my booking on samecday. But they would not refund me. As they said it booked through pitchup . Pitchup said it was there responsibility. But to this date they refuse to pay. The staff there are adamant to not pay. I do not recommend you book and cancell here as its very unlikely you will get your money back. I still have not since December.
