About Churchside Huts

A cosy glamping retreat on the outskirts of Louth, gateway to the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, Churchside Huts offers adults-only escapes in upcycled wooden shepherd's huts tucked within the owners' extensive gardens. Each hut features a comfortable double bed beneath stained-glass windows, a seating area, and a kitchenette with sink, kettle, gas hob and coffee maker. Your private washroom (separate building) has a modern shower, toilet and heated towel rail, while a shared covered kitchen provides communal fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and a large dining table around a woodburner.

The garden attracts pheasants, squirrels and foxes, and the area's renowned dark skies make for spectacular stargazing. Each cabin has its own firepit and barbecue for evenings when you want to keep yourselves to yourselves. With walking routes through the Wolds on the doorstep and Louth's market town charm just five minutes' drive away, it's an ideal base for a peaceful couple's retreat.

Had an absolutely fabulous time here. Stayed in The Den - what a fantastic job Tommy and Lucy have done in creating these little gems! Spotless with everything you need. Lots of lovely details and a lot more than you would expect from glamping. Super comfy beds - proper seating space indoors and outdoors. Beautiful grounds - so peaceful and quiet and yet minutes from Louth and not far to beautiful beaches! The private bathroom you are assigned on arrival is also to a very high standard and includes soft fresh towels and toiletries - and again, spotless. Add to that the fabulous, separate dining/kitchen area - what more do you need? Lucy and Tommy are wonderful hosts and so friendly but respect your space too. Would we go again? Absolutely - can’t wait. The perfect place to get away from it all and properly unwind!
