Quarry Lodge

Quarry Lodge is a recently renovated bungalow on a 3½-acre property, with everything on one floor. The kitchen is genuinely well fitted—gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee maker are all here, so you can cook properly rather than making do. Bed linen, towels, heating and wifi are included. One bedroom has a double bed (4ft 6in), the other two singles (3ft), and there's a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail.

The rear garden has a sitting-out area, furniture and a barbecue, looking over the grounds. You get private parking for two cars. The bungalow is no-smoking; children are welcome.

Boughton Monchelsea lies on Maidstone's edge, within reach of Leeds Castle, Canterbury and the Kent countryside. Maidstone town centre has shops, cafés and restaurants. Whitstable and Camber Sands beaches are a short drive away, and central London is 40 miles north. The surrounding area has country walks, cycling routes and traditional pubs.
