The Shepherds Huts at Laddingford - Shepherds Hut 1 in Kent

The River Teise runs past this wooden shepherds hut, and from the grounds you can head straight out into woodland walks or ramble across open countryside. The village pub is a short stroll away, and a footpath leads through the trees to the Boathouse at Yalding, where you can swim, eat, or try watersports. Leeds Castle and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens are half an hour's drive; Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Maidstone are all closer still.

The hut contains one double bedroom with an ensuite shower, and an open-plan living space where you can cook on an electric hob and microwave, eat at the dining table, and watch Freeview TV. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. Your own parking space sits next to the hut, and you have a private terrace with garden furniture; there is also a shared barbecue area in the grounds. One well-behaved pet stays free.

Note that there is an unfenced pond and river just yards from the property. No smoking inside.
