Been here 5 times with our camper and we are from Kent. Lovely location. Just what you need. We’ve had riverview and standard and both are great. Not over crowded and if you need anything they’re at the end of the phone. Nice little walk to a pub or bike ride. We bring our boat and paddles too. No traffic noise at all which is great!!!

Pretty. Picturesaue. Perfectly located midway between Tonbridge and Allington lock for those on a two day paddle along the tidal section of the river medway. Clare was responsive to our enquiry and questions. £25 field pitch or £35 river pitch. On a Sunday night in late June it was deserted and so peaceful. We were the only tent. Flushing toilets, washing up sinks and stand pipes, but no showers. Clean. Friendly staff. Easy access to the river. Secure. You’ll receive a key to the main gate (£20 deposit). As we left our tent before launching our canoe from Yalding and returned the evening to collect our tent there is a £10 late check out.

Great spot for river side camping and really good access to river for paddle board canoeing and so on. Got a spot under some trees so was able to hang my hammock and use my gym resistance set up and hang my solar shower from a tree. Really enjoyed my stay and the paddle boarding and fire pit by the river was great. Helpful staff, clean environment and well kept toilts. Would come again as so much more of the river to explore.

What a great place for camping! First of all, the team is fantastic—friendly, hardworking, and always looking after the site. The campsite is clean, with good access to the river. What really impressed me was the children’s playground in the middle of the site, surrounded by trees, so it’s always shaded on a hot summer’s day. We’ll definitely be back!
