We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful and extremely spacious farmhouse. Set in a peaceful rural location, it offered the perfect escape from everyday life. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful when needed and nothing was too much trouble. The house itself was immaculate, with spotlessly clean bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and everything we could possibly need provided. A great welcome pack was provided with lots of lovely goodies and it’s clear that a lot of care and thought goes into making guests feel welcome. This farmhouse is ideal for a family gathering—plenty of space to relax, laugh, and make memories together. We left feeling refreshed and grateful that we found Rimmers Farmhouse

Probably THE BEST walks straight from your front door of anywhere we’ve stayed. This is a lovely, really well equipped, spacious, traditional farm house in a beautiful location. We have a dog who doesn’t cope well with other dogs and it was perfect for her. We didn’t see any dogs on our many and various walks along the really well signposted local walks. And our lovely host Shirley has some great walking suggestions in the information folders along with details of local places to visit including farm shops and pubs. We really enjoyed it

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The house is incredible, so spacious, and so well stocked with everything you could ever need in the kitchen, not to mention the incredible range of outdoor games for children (under the bench seat in the kitchen), the picnic set and cool box. The beds are very comfortable and there are towels too. It was a lovely touch to receive sweets, cheeses, butter, juices, local milk and a very delicious lemon cake on arrival. The garden is very spacious and fenced/gated with the bonus of a fire pit. Superb!

Rimmers Farmhouse is a sheer delight. Although there were 9 of us plus 1 dog there was always a suitable space for whatever on site activity each of us chose to do; the cosy sunglasses beautifully furnished and peaceful, the large living room with TV was also beautifully furnished as was every other room, all with plenty of objects/ ornaments. It always felt like a home more than a holiday rental. It was incredibly well equipped, even down to birthday banners which had been forgotten by us. The house was generous, as was the most amazing welcome pack, a reflection of our hosts who had both grown up on the adjacent farms. They had gone on to refurbish the farmhouse with such loving attention to detail. The outdoor space was excellent for the children and the dog. It was also a beautifully planted garden with many well tended pots. It was April and we weren't able to make use of the ample garden furniture but on our last evening we did enjoy playing our own impromptu version of Herd Mentality around the fire pit. We did get to enjoy the blossom and watching the landscape green up daily, especially over the expansive views to the front with the added interest of Melvyn driving his big, green tractor.
