What visitors say
An absolute hidden treasure! We arrived with no expectations and were welcomed and had everything explained to us. We chose some activities for our children (10 & 6) and volunteers were immediately deployed to guide them through the "gem bundle". Both children had a great time and have brought home loads of goodies to remember their visit. All staff were kind, patient, helpful and informative, especially Davis and Harry who supported us with the activities and guided us through the museum.

We see these guys and girls set up in Peterborough city centre one weekend so we thought we pay them a visit during the school holidays. What can I say a great little set up, if you enjoy the wonders of nature this is the place to be. Only £3 entry fee each lots of different activities for the children we did panning gems 💎 and my boys loved the fact they got to take some of what they found home. Activities very reasonable priced also. Was greeted well by all staff who where very knowledgeable too. Thank yoj guys and girls your doing and amazing job 👏🏽

Very small place but my nearly 8 year old son loved it here. We spent a good few hours doing every activity and was so pleased to be able to keep his findings. His favourite was a roman coin which hes taken to school to show off too. Free parking very nearby was a bonus!

My 3 sons (10 and 6) loved it so much. The volunteers know their stuff. I came to have a nosey in the shop but ended up here for 3 hours doing all the activities. They can’t wait to come again ☺️
