About Tanner Farm Park
Set in the Kent countryside near Marden, Tanner Farm Park delivers the essentials with a warm welcome. The 91 pitches – split between electric hardstanding and grass touring options – are notably spacious and well-kept, while the shower blocks impress with cleanliness and unlimited hot water that actually runs hot. Friendly staff and a well-stocked on-site shop add to the appeal, and with year-round opening and pets allowed, it's a flexible base for families exploring Tonbridge and the surrounding Weald.
That said, some visitors note that certain amenities can occasionally be closed or showing their age. Still, if you're after straightforward touring with generous pitch sizes and reliable facilities rather than bells and whistles, Tanner Farm strikes a dependable balance.

What visitors say
I love this campsite and have stayed here multiple times over the last six or seven years and will return. However, as a tent camper, the place has really gone downhill for us. When we first started coming here we had pitches that were on the main area of the site. All of these pitches were tucked in amidst mature trees and tall thick hedging. This gave a little extra privacy and plenty of shelter from whatever the weather had in store. There were also two playgrounds available for the kids, one at either end of the site, which meant wherever you were pitched it was never far for the kids to go to find one. In the last couple of years all tent pitches have been relegated to a field off the back of the site. They're fine, the pitches are well maintained. But it's just a line of tents facing out into a huge empty field. No trees. No privacy. Absolutely zero shade throughout most of the day. They've also removed the wooden playground from the tent field, so for anyone staying in this area the only option is right at the other end of the park which is a real nuisance for anyone with kids too small to go unsupervised. While these changes have been going on the pitch price has crept up. As stated I will keep coming here - it's a lovely park in a fantastic location, really easy to reach plenty of fun and interesting days out (and the produce from the farm shop five mins down the road is wonderful) and the staff have always been fab. It's still a calm and pleasant site. It's just a real shame that these decisions have been made to the detriment of tent campers as for us it means the site has lost what made it really stand out above the rest.

We need an internet connection for planning & booking forward movements as we travel. Tanner Farm has the poorest internet we have experienced in the whole of Britain. Best described as Zero WiFi & Zero Internet! If you want to live in the 21st century avoid this place! Amenities broken and closed? We do not recommend!

What an absolute lovely stay, large parking spaces and fantastic shop the people we met were so polite and easy to talk to . The shower blocks were so clean , I think overall it was one of the nicest cleanest campsites I’ve stayed in

Stayed three nights in late November - very friendly staff, well stocked on site shop. Warm and clean loos/ showers with unlimited hot water and a hairdryer in the ladies facilities. WiFi was a bit erratic and it's a drive (or bus) not walk to local pubs/ restaurants.
