Review of Royston Museum I was lucky enough earlier today to have the time to pop into Royston Museum — and am I glad I did! The fantastic staff, who I have to say are not only a delight to spend time with, but also have between them an extensive knowledge of all things Royston (and much more). I was fascinated to hear about the ghost of 'Lucy' and many other local stories, and only disappointed that I didn’t have more time to stay and chat. Believe me when I say I’ll be back — and I wholeheartedly recommend others to visit. Although this gem of a place can be a little hard to find (it’s hiding in plain sight!), it’s absolutely worth the effort. The museum underwent a major renovation around 2022, and it really shows. There are great displays, fascinating objects, and beautiful pictures — including oil paintings by a very famous artist, but I’ll leave that for you to discover yourself. You can find out more via their website and follow them on social media .

A nice little museum that details the history of Royston and how it came to be. Entry is free and what there is to see is all informative and will make you appreciate the town even more, from it's humble beginnings to its place today. Combine it for when you visit the nearby Cave.

Nice small museum with local history and friendly staff. If in town pop in and see. First time I've heard of the Riyston crow as well. it's free to get in aswell.
