About Anglesey Arms Hotel

Anglesey Arms Hotel suits visitors after a comfortable, food-focused stay rather than a slick city hotel experience - families travelling with dogs, walkers exploring the Anglesey coast, or couples wanting a Sunday roast without much fuss. It sits on Mona Road in Menai Bridge, a short walk from St. Georges Pier, with free on-site parking for anyone arriving by car.

Rooms are en-suite and comfortable, and the hotel also offers a bridal suite for those staying around a wedding, as it doubles as a wedding venue with meeting rooms available too. The restaurant and bar are a real focus here, with a varied menu including well-regarded Sunday roasts and a reasonably priced set menu, plus kids' meals, packed lunches, and drinks brought to the room. Staff are friendly and attentive, though service can slow down at busier times. There's a garden and outdoor seating for warmer days, free WiFi throughout, 24-hour reception, and luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures.

The surrounding area suits an active break, with golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking routes all nearby, alongside further pubs and restaurants within easy reach. It's a straightforward, welcoming base for exploring Menai Bridge and the wider Isle of Anglesey.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful pub/hotel and honestly, it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely amazing, so warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with fresh towels provided daily, which was such a lovely touch. It really felt like a home away from home. And the food… just wow. Every meal we had was impeccable, delicious, well presented, and clearly made with care. It was something we genuinely looked forward to. My partner and I had such a great time here, and it’s safe to say we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with outstanding service. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable stay!

Felt compelled to leave a review. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. Staff were lovely, food exceptional and the Manchester original is my new fav lager. Rooms are nice and comfy.

Sunday evening 8 of us went for a lovely evening meal.. Restaurant was busy but not over busy. We sat and order drinks this was just after 7 pm. To say we waited a good hour for our meal is putting it mildly.. we had Sean who took our order very polite and never saw him again after he said if you have any problems let me know.. As for the meal to be onest it was rubbish for a Sunday evening, they ran out of Yorkshire pudding, mash potatoes I had just a dessert spoon and they offer extra roasted potatoes for us in place of the lack of Yorkshire.. which you needed a sledgehammer to open. In fairness the management did apologise and reduced the bill accordingly. But to say we are not impressed is putting it mildly.. For what they charge..
