About Eagle Camping

Nestled between Anglesey and Snowdonia's dramatic peaks, Eagle Camping occupies a beautifully positioned rugby club training field bordered by woodland and a river. The facilities genuinely impress – reviewers rave about the hot, powerful showers and well-equipped communal kitchen in the clubhouse, while outside you'll find a barn with games and the popular wild spa. Fire pits can be hired (wood sold on site, grass boards provided free), and the peaceful atmosphere makes this an ideal base for exploring the coastal path to Porth Penrhyn or Anglesey's sandy Red Wharf Bay, 25 minutes away.

The friendly owners strike the right balance between being attentive and leaving campers to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. A few practical points: only one car per pitch (extras park separately), dogs welcome but must stay leashed and aren't allowed in the clubhouse, and quiet hours run 10.30pm–8am. Bangor's supermarkets and pubs are 15 minutes away for supplies.

Had a terrific couple of nights here staying in one of their meadow pitches. The perfect combination of creature comforts and being away in nature. The hosts Bethan and Adam were lovely to meet, and we're very impressed with the setup and how it uses green renewable techniques. Highlight of the site for me would be having my breakfast cup of tea with Barn swallows swooping centimetres above my head. Location is very convenient for exploring the local area also. Definitely going to be back again at some point.

What a fantastic campsite! Surrounded by trees, it's full of character and laid back vibes, with all the ethos you'd hope for from a Greener Camping club site. Super friendly and helpful owners make it a site we'd definitely return to. Oh, and the showers - best Camping showers we've ever used, for sure! A great location and easy to find. Diolch yn fawr iawn, Bethan and Adam

Friendly and helpful owners who warmley received us. Will definitely return. Made a lasting imoression on us. A great base for all the areas local attractions. Greenwood Park, Rib ride from Beaumaris on Angelsey. Had a wonderful weekend. Even made friends with another family.! Bethan arranged for us to have wonderful treatments from Elen. Highly recommended to tune on connect to nature and yourself. Didn't want to leave!

This is our second time visiting which tells you everything. The site is clean, well organised, and the facilities are excellent! The owners are super helpful and will always go out of their way to help. The showers are excellent, and the fact eco-products are supplied is a bonus. We were very lucky with the weather, which made everything perfect.
