Stayed here last weekend, which was our 2nd time. Lovely campsite, which has 2 toilets, 2 showers and 1 sink for washing up facilities. There was 1 toilet out of order for a very small time and the owner was very quick in getting it sorted, and was back up and running in no time. The facilities/campsite are clean. Lovely cafe at the entrance. The owner is very tentative. To access the facilities it is via a couple of paths, the photo is one of them which has a tiny incline. As with any campsite bring a torch to find your way if up in the night. We did stay last year too which happened to be the same evening as a singer was on. Great evening and fab music. There are 2 fields for camping with horses in the next field. Also has hard standing for mobile homes/caravans. Can highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay here.

I love my regular visits to Jeanette and John’s lovely site. It’s perfect for peaceful quiet with friendly campers. There’s a nice pub across the road but definitely try the cafe for a lovely breakfast if you fancy a break from washing up. The train station is close so you can easily visit further afield. But if bird song and watching the horses graze with the odd chicken walking past you will enjoy the experience!

A truly wonderful campsite that is incredibly dog friendly! We stayed with our dogs and had such a peaceful, relaxing break. The surroundings are beautiful, and the whole site has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. What really stood out was how quiet, exceptionally clean and well managed everything was. Even though the campsite was very busy, the facilities and grounds were kept absolutely pristine, which is no small achievement. I was especially impressed that, despite so many dogs being on site, the grounds were spotless and very well maintained. It's clear that a lot of care and pride goes into running this campsite, and it really shows. We will definitely be returning. We absolutely love this place and can't recommend it highly enough 🐾

We come here almost every weekend during the spring and summer, the owners are very friendly and go out their way to ensure we’re comfortable and happy. You can purchase fresh eggs laid by their very own chickens, delivered to our caravan door. They have their very own onsite cafe where you can get a very delicious full English breakfast. They have a large menu with lots of choices for breakfast and lunch, you can eat-in or take-away. There’s a pub around a 3 minute walk away which serves great food and has a park for children which our grandson loves. The facilities are very clean, they are shared facilities for both sexes but privacy is the campsites highest priority. Each shower cubicle is fully lockable and very spacious with hangers provided within. There’s a shop around a 5 minute walk away and the train station and bus stop is on your doorstep. Janette and John who live in the farm house onsite go the extra mile for everyone. Would always 100% recommend and return for many future family breaks away.
