Diss and the villages around it offer plenty to explore within a short drive. Wingfield has a castle with gardens open to the public, and the market town itself is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The Norfolk Broads are accessible for a day out on the water, while walkers will find footpaths crisscrossing the agricultural landscape that surrounds this converted barn.

Alberts Dairy is a one-bedroom property on a single level, with an open-plan living area that includes a kitchen, dining space and lounge. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and there is a shower room with a heated towel rail. An electric woodburner stove provides warmth, and the essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen and towels—are all covered. Outside, a front garden has seating and furniture for sitting out, plus parking for two cars and a bike store.

The property is no-smoking. An electric car charging point is available by prior arrangement, at cost. WiFi is included. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.

Fabulous second stay at this wonderful little gem. Everything had been thought of to make our stay very comfy & cosy. Such a peaceful, idyllic setting, well placed for exploring both the Norfolk & Suffolk coast & countryside. Trudie is an exceptional host who clearly cares about providing the best service. Highly recommended. Already planning our third stay.

Stayed here for work and it has everything you need! Great quiet location! A lovely barn renovated to a high standard. One of the best accommodations I’ve stayed in!
