The Cart Lodge

The Cart Lodge is a converted barn on a single level in open countryside, with everything you need already in place. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave; there's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer; heating is oil underfloor throughout. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A private hot tub for four sits in the enclosed garden, which also has a patio, furniture and a barbecue.

Two bedrooms sleep four: one has a double bed, the other has two single beds that zip together as a double if needed. The bathroom is a walk-in shower with grab rail and heated towel rail. The living and dining space is open-plan with vaulted ceilings and views across the countryside; there's a sofa bed here if you need extra sleeping space. Ramp access and all accommodation on the ground floor. One well-behaved pet is welcome.

You have private parking for four cars, a bike store, and access to carp fishing in the moat on the grounds. This suits families or groups wanting a properly equipped base without compromise, and somewhere quiet to retreat to. No smoking in the property.
