Doves Barn

Ipswich sits within reach of several draws: Christchurch Park and its museum, the riverfront, independent shops and Garnham's Coffee Co are all close enough to explore. Back at Doves Barn itself, there is genuinely plenty to do without leaving the property. The barn—a Grade II listed building dating back to the 16th century—occupies two acres with a large garden, sitting-out area and an eight-person hot tub open until 11pm. Ample parking for cars is on-site.

The property holds eight bedrooms across two floors, sleeping up to 22 guests. On the ground floor are five bedrooms (two with en-suites), a living room with exposed oak beams and woodburner, dining room, and a kitchen with electric range, dishwasher and breakfast area. Upstairs are three further bedrooms, two of them galleried; two have en-suites. Six bathrooms and shower rooms are distributed throughout. Bed linen, Wi-Fi and electricity are included; cots and highchairs are available on request. The property is yours alone.

Doves Barn works for family groups and friends gathering to mark an occasion. The grounds contain an unfenced pond roughly 45 yards from the building, so care is needed with young children. Smoking is not permitted, and fireworks are not allowed in the garden. One pet is welcome.
