Lodge 38

Lodge 38 sits on the grounds of Stonham Barns, a working estate spread across 110 acres near the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom property is on ground level throughout, with an open-plan living and dining area that opens onto a wraparound terrace. Everything is contained in one accessible space: bedrooms with TVs, a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and air fryer, and two full bathrooms. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; the heating runs on LPG gas. One dog stays free, and there's an enclosed garden with seating for when you want to retreat from the main grounds.

The site itself has two fishing lakes stocked with carp, tench and bream, plus on-site access to the Owl Sanctuary with over 80 birds of prey and other animals. There's a children's play area, crazy golf, a golf simulator, and a bar and restaurant where guests get a discount. An Aqua Park opened on site in 2023. You have private parking for two cars and can arrange fishing access separately. The lodge suits families wanting activities on their doorstep without leaving the grounds, or anyone looking for a quieter countryside base with optional entertainment close by.
