What visitors say
I think it's a great place to visit although I feel the price was abit high almost the same as zoo price, the birds are well maintained in there cages and looking healthy and the bird/owl show was amazing to see these birds fly over your head when they come to perform the staff was nice friendly. If your looking to touch the birds experience you would have to book it online in advance, there is a small play grounds inside as well, you get to see many types of owls, vultures, flamingo, falcons, Laughing kookaburra, Ravens, merecats, porcupines, armadillos. It's a good day out spot, and you can come out and go back in as many times as you want as long as you have the band on your wrist so you can come out eat at cafe or get some snacks, they do have cold drinks and ice creams at the ticket area as well.

We had the most incredible experience at the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, and we can't recommend it enough. We booked the owl encounter as a special surprise for our 8-year-old autistic son, who absolutely loves owls. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff was kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming. They took the time to make him feel comfortable, answered all of his many owl questions with enthusiasm, and made him feel included every step of the way. Meeting Gus the owl was a dream come true. Watching his face light up, seeing him interact so confidently, and hearing him talk about owls afterwards made this an unforgettable experience for our family. The staff's understanding, compassion, and willingness to embrace his excitement meant more to us than we can put into words. The sanctuary itself is beautiful, well cared for, and it's clear how much love and dedication goes into looking after these magnificent birds. It was not only an amazing experience but also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about owl conservation. Thank you for creating such a magical memory for our family. Your kindness, inclusivity, and passion made this a truly special day, and we can't wait to visit again.

Quite small but loads there to see. The birds they've rescued and helped are amazing and the staff are so dedicated. Had a great time with a 20 minute owl encounter as well, the trainer I was with (I think she was called Hannah) was amazing too and really made the experience with the owl that went meow, I've forgotten his name, sorry 😂 but the dedication and passion of everyone there was obvious The site is going through some big improvements too, which is nice to see. Would return and recommend, especially adding an owl encounter onto your booking 🦉

Visted with my wife over the easter weekend. Went to all the talks and both flying demonstrations. Loved it! Being a slightly smaller park you will find plenty of time to talk to the trainers when they are inside the cages and the volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge. Will be coming back soon. LOVED IT!
