Blossoms Cottage is a detached single-storey property on the grounds of a working farm in rural Mid Sussex, near Hassocks. You arrive into an open-plan living space with original beamed ceilings, a wood-burning effect fire, and French doors opening onto a front terrace and enclosed rear garden with patio and barbecue. The sofa in the main room converts to a double bed, so the cottage sleeps four across one kingsize bedroom and the living area. A fully equipped kitchen lets you cook properly, and there is a bathroom with bath and shower.

The property sits amid farmland with footpaths and bridleways nearby, making it a natural base for walking or cycling. A pub is within a mile. Parking for two cars is on site, and essentials including heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are covered. The cottage is entirely yours—no shared spaces. It does not permit smoking.

The surrounding farmland is home to rare-breed livestock, including pygmy goats and Hebridean sheep. Beyond the immediate rural setting, the South Downs National Park is close by, offering further scope for outdoor exploration.

It was a small cottage in the heart of the Sussex countryside, near to many beautiful places. No shops or Pubs in walking distance, but footpaths galore.

An excellent place to stay for a relaxing and peaceful break. The cottage is well equipped, with all that is required for an enjoyable break. Although off the beaten track , it is not too far from local pubs , shops and Brighton is not too far away.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blossom's Cottage. Set on a lovely farm with friendly animals, it has easy access to public footpaths and the most beautiful sunsets! Very spacious for two people and a very comfortable bed. Also had outdoor seating and a little bbq. Its only a 20 min drive from Brighton and Hove and there are lovely Vineyards, restaurants and little towns all within a 15 min drive away. The wifi wasn't too good but if you are not going to be working while staying there - its a fantastic option!
