This is a lovely campsite. Extremely well looked after, facilities are so clean. The owner was really friendly. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Two things were not great but it could be just us. 1. There was only 2 toilets and 2 showers open when the campsite was not so busy. I feel it should of been 3. I understand why you would close some but 2 is not really enough. 2. They could do with more waste bins in the toilets and showers also the pot wash. Having said that can't wait to return.

I absolutely love this place! We have visited before but I forgot what a great place it is. Beautiful scenery, by the river which you have access to (including dogs). Facilities are great. Option to have a look burner and logs in the evening which get dropped off for you about 7pm. Short walk up farm lane to village. A few pubs, take away and shops. Small camp shop on site. Friendly welcome by staff/owner. We will definitely be back.

Good campsite. Covered washing up area is a nice treat. Middleton-in-Teesdale is a pretty good base, has everything you'll need.

This is truly an amazing camp site. Its location down a little lane keeps it away from noise yet close enough to walk into Middleton-In-Teesdale, some lovely shops for food, right on the riverbank too. Excellent clean facilities onsite with a small shop. I will return here again.
