Best weekend ever!! We came last weekend and this was our first time on a campsite, and just wow, what a place! The location is great, the facilities are brilliant with nice hot showers and clean toilets, and to top it off the residents and guests are so lovely! Grass Roots really does have such an amazing community feel, we even all watched the England game. And another bonus is definitely the alpacas and goats on site, we did the alpaca experience which was unreal! Can’t thank everyone enough at Grass Roots, we can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back🩷

We had an amazing week camping with our family at Grass Roots. Chloe was super friendly and accommodating, our car broke down during our visit and she helped me find a mechanic and tow my car to the garage. I felt that they went above and beyond to help. The campsite itself was perfect for all children, ours ranged from 2-10. It was small enough to let the children run and explore and keep an eye at the same time. They all made friends and enjoyed all the time spent at the campsite. The bar was great and staff were friendly. The shower block ans toilets were lovely and clean. The mini golf and animals were a great addition. Not to mention the beautiful sunsets 🌞🫶🏼 We can’t wait to come back next year and bring our friends!

Great campsite with a relaxed feel. The Alpaca field was quieter than the main area, which suited my son and me perfectly. We enjoyed having the bar on-site and the campfire kit was brilliant for marshmallows.Huge thanks to Chloe — her kindness and flexibility after a rough travel day made all the difference. She gave us options, stayed understanding throughout, and turned a bad situation into a manageable one.We’ll happily return.

We stayed recently in our camper. There was a friendly welcome when we arrived. Beautifully kept site. Toilets were immaculate. There's a lovely bar on site which, although we didn't use, looked friendly and welcoming. The alpacas and other animals were a delight. There's plenty of space for kids to play. It's one of the best smaller campsites we have visited. One thing I will say is make sure you don't forget any supplies there are no shops close by without driving back into town
