Haven View suits families, couples or groups of friends after a full self-catering base rather than a compact getaway. The three bedrooms – two doubles and one twin – are on the ground floor, while the first floor opens up into a generous living space with kitchen and dining area. Both double bedrooms have ensuite facilities; there's a separate bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. One dog stays free.
The kitchen is properly fitted out for cooking, with a gas hob and electric oven. Doors from the living room lead to a small study, and steps down to the rear garden where a summerhouse overlooks the Haven Waterway – somewhere to sit and watch the water change through the day. The house has parking for three cars and a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. Note that there are 16 steps from the parking area to the entrance, and a further 22 steep stone steps down to the lower garden level.
Llanstadwell is an old waterside village. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs past the garden gate; within a short walk is a local pub with a conservatory overlooking the water. The Marina nearby runs boat trips including wildlife safaris to Skomer and Grassholm, and cruises into the inland waterway. Smoking inside is not permitted.

Loved staying here! We were a group of three actors working on a panto at The Torch Theatre and stayed at Haven View for the duration. It was incredibly convenient, you can literally see the theatre as you step out of the front door, and it’s only a short five-minute walk. As for the house itself, it’s like the TARDIS, much bigger on the inside! Spread across three floors, it has three bedrooms; a large living room with a smart TV, sofas, and dining area; a big kitchen with an additional dining space and a lovely view across the water; a utility room; a generous bathroom; and a second toilet - invaluable when there are three actors all trying to get ready at the same time! I stayed in the large attic bedroom, which can be configured as either twin beds or a spacious double, and it also includes a sofa. On the first floor there’s a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both of which enjoy the same gorgeous view across the water. The house is tastefully furnished and feels very homely. Throughout our stay, Jayne was friendly, helpful, and responsive. She provided all the information we needed on arrival, and on the rare occasions we needed assistance, she replied promptly and resolved things quickly. As this was a longer stay, Jayne arranged for a professional cleaner to come fortnightly, which was greatly appreciated and helped keep the house in excellent condition. She also made the effort to check in with us in person, and even came to see our show with her family, leaving us a glowing review in return! The house is situated on Milford Haven’s high street, which has plenty of convenience shops, cafés, restaurants, and local businesses to explore. There’s a Best-One directly opposite, stocking anything you might need in a hurry and open until 11pm, as well as plenty of takeaways, including a Chinese just across the road. A Taste of Haven, a small independent café two doors up, is especially friendly and great value, serving an excellent breakfast; they even gave us our hot drinks for free when we popped in before 10am! The White Butterfly is further down the high street, towards the theatre. Situated in a cosy little arcade and run by a lovely mother and daughter team, everything is homemade, incredibly good value and tasty. Their cawl (soup) kept us going! Whether you’re working locally or looking for the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire, I can’t recommend Haven View highly enough.

Our stay at Haven View in Milford Haven was nothing short of wonderful! The place is spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished. We loved the sitting room and dining area—it felt cozy yet airy, just a perfect space to rest after a day of discovering Pembrokeshire. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed—dishwasher, oven, microwave, and French press —which made meal prep a breeze. Both bedrooms clean and relaxing with fresh and cozy beds. The bathroom with its bath/shower combo was practical—just what’s needed after a long day out. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, which made staying in touch easy between outings. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. A stone’s throw from Milford Marina—with its cafés, restaurants, and the Maritime Museum—and just a short drive to almost every beautiful place in Pembrokeshire, it was our ideal base for exploring. The owner of Haven View was incredibly welcoming and a real highlight of our stay. From the very first message, she was warm, responsive, and genuinely kind—nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Whether it was answering questions before arrival or offering helpful tips during our stay, her communication was quick and thoughtful. It’s clear she truly cares about her guests having the best possible experience. Her friendly approach made us feel instantly at home and completely at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely and helpful host! Haven View is a delightful, well-appointed house with character offering comfort and convenience. Ideal for families or groups of friends wanting a relaxing getaway in Pembroke. We’d happily return—I’m sure you will too!

Our family enjoyed our week last summer at Haven View so much that we returned for a weekend in March. The 3 floors give you loads of room and a great south facing view of the harbour. There are spectacular beaches and castles all over Pembs. Everywhere seemed to be 25 minutes away in the car. The kids loved being able to pop out safely to the shop across the road. A cafe two doors along does top home made cakes or a cooked breakfast, and we discovered a proper butcher 5 minutes’ walk away. If you want someone else to cook for you there are restaurants around the marina just down the hill. We will be back.
