About Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central
Milton Keynes is built for easy access, with its grid-planned centre linking shopping, entertainment and transport routes, and the Holiday Inn Milton Keynes - Central puts guests right in the middle of it on Saxon Gate West. The hotel has 173 rooms, including family and accessible options, each with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and in-room drinks, though some rooms are showing their age rather than feeling freshly refurbished.
There's a restaurant serving breakfast and meals through the day, with kids' meals available, plus a bar for something more relaxed. Staff throughout the hotel, and particularly in the restaurant, are consistently attentive. Guests can also make use of the indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped gym and a spa with sauna, while meeting rooms cater to business visitors. Room service and laundry service are on hand for anyone who'd rather not leave the building.
Outside, the surrounding area has plenty of pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, making the hotel a practical base for exploring Milton Keynes or breaking up a longer journey. On-site parking is available, though it comes at an extra cost.

What guests say
Working away isn’t always glamorous, but this Holiday Inn has made it a pleasure. Check-in was quick, friendly and efficient, getting me from reception to my room in no time. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. My only minor gripe is the shower—whoever designed it clearly wasn’t expecting anyone over 6’3”! It’s perfectly usable, but taller guests may find themselves doing a bit of an awkward limbo. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice. Fresh pastries, fruit, yoghurt and eggs cooked to order set you up nicely for the day, alongside all the usual hot breakfast favourites. The leisure facilities are another real plus. The gym is well equipped, and with opening hours from 6:30am to 9pm, it’s easy to fit a workout around work. Having a pool and sauna to unwind in afterwards is an added bonus. I haven’t had the chance to try Marco’s restaurant yet, but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by, I’m looking forward to it. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, excellent facilities and staff who clearly take pride in what they do. I’d happily stay here again—and if they ever raise the shower head a few inches, it’ll be just about perfect!

I had a wonderful breakfast at Holiday Inn Milton Keynes and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of fresh and delicious options to choose from. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service provided by Freda. Freda was warm, friendly, attentive, and always greeted guests with a smile. She made sure everything was perfect and created a welcoming atmosphere that made the morning even more enjoyable. Her professionalism and genuine care for guests are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you, Freda, for making our breakfast experience so pleasant. I would happily recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again.

Had a really enjoyable dinner at the Holiday Inn restaurant tonight while staying at the hotel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great for watching the Champions League final, and the service from Peach was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, professional, and made me feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. She also arranged a great table for me with a perfect view of the TV, which made the whole experience even better. A very relaxing and enjoyable evening overall. Big thanks to Peach and the hotel team — I would happily recommend this place to others.

Brilliant room with balcony. Little bit extra but well worth it. Friendly staff and always very helpful. Andy in Gym was fantastic. Let me in even though it was almost closing time. Very friendly and you can tell he took great pride in his job. My only gripe with the room was wifi kept cutting out. Additional charge for parking now in place.
