Just a squink short of 5 stars. Lovely hosts; pleasant room with rural charm; good bed. Breakfast is continental, with extensive choice, including croissants and perfectly cooked boiled eggs. Given proper bedside tables and a hook behind the bathroom door, 5 stars would be certain. Unfortunately, local shops are 15 minutes walk away.

Just fabulous! This place is everything you could want for a quiet few days. Bear in mind it's a bed & breakfast and not a full service hotel, so don't be expecting a resident's bar, restaurant and concierge. But what it is is just a lovely, quiet, and immaculately clean B&B in a pretty village handy for getting to Milton Keynes. Family-run, with continental breakfast left out in the residents' well appointed kitchen each morning and a lovely room with en suite shower facilities. No hesitation in recommending this.
