About The Old School Campsite
Tucked away near Minsterley, this welcoming campsite occupies a converted school building and its surrounding grounds, offering a peaceful base for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Pitches come with electric hook-up, and there's proper WiFi – a rarity in rural spots – alongside clean showers and toilets. Campfires are allowed, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere, and dogs are welcome to join the adventure.
Families appreciate the easygoing vibe and proximity to both countryside walks and Shrewsbury's historic centre. The facilities are straightforward rather than fancy, but they're well-maintained and do the job. It's the kind of place that suits campers after simplicity and good access to the region's walking trails, without needing bells and whistles on site.

Great little campsite with very good and polite hosts. Would recommend this place to anyone who want a night of camping/bell tent and who loves crafts or outdoor activities

We stayed here for 1 night and stayed in a glamping pod, everything was clean and ready for our stay! Bed was comfy and our glamping tent had everything in it that we needed would defo come back again. Shame the weather wasn't on our side BUT we managed a small walk and the area was nice even better that we was able to bring our dog! Thankyou

Beautiful spot in the countryside and really well presented little campsite. Run by a lovely family who seem know a thing or two about outdoor activities as well. The site facilities were in extremely good condition and comfortable, not cold and crafty like lots of campsites - Probably very recently re-furbished. Nice place to pitch-up.

Lovely small, sleepy campsite. Owner was super helpful and provided a few suggestions for local walks along with maps! We had a great walk to the Bog visitors centre. Facilities were clean and to a high standard. Can not fault it.
