Haven’t been to the fishery for years and it reminded me why today. Little to no maintenance around the lakes, trees that low kids can’t even cast a 10ft rod. The trees are full of fishing line and floats it’s like a tackle grave yard. The island on the bottom lake has so much bramble and fallen branches in the water even casting 1m from the island you get snagged which is a danger to the fish not just losing tackle. The platforms are dangerously rotten and ready to collapse. Seems like the owner is happy to take money but not to look after the place or the fish in the lakes.

Fab angling spot, 4 ponds available, lots of pegs on each pond. Sufficient parking, rest rooms available, snack bar that's open mid morning and mid afternoon, listen out for the horn that signals when it's open. Very friendly atmosphere. There is also a small caravan and camping site available

Great fishing very peaceful for a day of pleasure fishing. Owner is great very good tea and coffee on the lakeside from the hut near two bottom lakes. Highly recommend. 👍🏻👌

Really nice venue, fished several times now. Large lake to the left as you drive down the ramps holding double figure carp, same with the smaller lake by the booth. A child friendly pool to the right holding carp and silverfish to around 10lb and a beautiful scenic lake with two shepard huts if you want a quiet day to mostly yourself at the very top, or fancy an overnighter glamping style. Take cash to pay bank side or it's a walk back to the booth for contactless. Coffee, bacon sarnie and snacks available when owner present. A real gem and blissfully quiet.
